They are sold without plates. For training, the 5.11 TacTec Trainer Weight Vest takes weight plate pairs from 5.25 kg to 17 kg, for rucking, functional fitness and Hyrox training. Plates and Body Armour Laws

TacSource sells plate carriers without plates. Our 5.11 weight plates are for training and aren’t armour plates. Laws on body armour and armour plates vary by state and territory, and some states restrict ballistic plates, so check your local requirements before buying or sourcing any plates. TacSource can’t give legal advice.
