What's the difference between the Charged Valsetz Boot, Waterproof and Zip?

The standard Charged Valsetz Boot is the workhorse 6" tactical duty boot. The Mid is a lower-height variant offering ankle mobility with less thermal retention. The Waterproof variant adds a sealed waterproof membrane for wet conditions. The Zip variant replaces the standard lace-only closure with a side zip for fast entry and exit. All four share the same Charged Cushioning® foam midsole, molded EVA sockliner and athletic construction.

How does Under Armour Tactical sizing work?


Under Armour Tactical runs true to standard UA athletic sizing. If you wear UA trainers day-to-day, order the same size. First-time UA owners should note UA runs true to labelled US sizing which is consistent with Australian shoe sizes. Sizing varies by variant, check individual product size charts before ordering.

Are Under Armour Tactical Boots waterproof?

The Charged Valsetz Waterproof is fully waterproof with sealed construction and a waterproof membrane. The standard Charged Valsetz Boot and Zip variants are water-resistant only. Check individual product specifications for confirmation.

Are Under Armour Tactical Boots ADF approved?

Under Armour is not currently on the ADF Approved Boots List. Australian defence personnel wearing UA Tactical do so as non-uniform training or off-shift footwear. For ADF-approved options, look at the Merrell MQC 2.

Are Under Armour Tactical Boots AS/NZS 2210.3 certified?

Under Armour Tactical Boots are certified to US safety standards, not the Australian AS/NZS 2210.3 standard. For Australian worksites requiring AS/NZS 2210.3 certified footwear, check individual product specifications.

Do Under Armour Tactical Boots have a safety toe?

How do I care for Under Armour Tactical Boots?

Wipe uppers with a damp cloth after wear. UA uses synthetic and mesh construction across the Charged Valsetz range, so leather conditioner is not required. Air dry only, never near direct heat as it damages waterproof membranes and glues. Rotate between two pairs if wearing daily to extend overall lifespan.
