The RUSH® LBD MIKE is a compact powerhouse designed to carry heavy loads without compromise. Engineered from water-resistant 1050D nylon, this 40-liter Load Bearing Duffel is reinforced with heavy-duty bar-tacking to withstand the rigors of deployment, training, or rugged travel.

Versatility is central to its design, featuring a convertible carry system that allows you to wear it as a backpack or carry it as a traditional duffel. The spacious main compartment includes a padded bottom panel and internal lashing straps to secure armor and gear. Match capacity to your primary use case. RUSH 12 (24L) suits daily carry, gym and urban EDC. RUSH 24 (37L) is the sweet spot for duty and training. RUSH 72 (55L) handles 3-day loadouts and deployment kit. RUSH 100 (60L) covers extended travel and full field ops. Most professionals own two: a smaller RUSH for daily carry and a larger RUSH for duty or field use.

Are RUSH backpacks waterproof?

Water-resistant, not fully waterproof. The 1050D nylon shell sheds rain and light water contact. For extended wet conditions or water crossings, use a dedicated rain cover or a waterproof compression bag inside the main compartment.

What's MOLLE and can I attach pouches?

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a webbing system that lets you attach modular pouches, holsters and accessories directly to your pack. RUSH backpacks have MOLLE across the front, sides and top for full customisation. Any MOLLE-compatible pouch attaches directly. No special tools required.

What size laptop fits in the RUSH?

RUSH 12 fits laptops up to 15". RUSH 24, RUSH 72 and RUSH 100 fit laptops up to 17" in the dedicated padded compartment integrated into the back panel.

Are RUSH backpacks approved for cabin luggage?

RUSH 12 and RUSH 24 fit standard international cabin luggage dimensions across most airlines. RUSH 72 and RUSH 100 exceed cabin dimensions for most airlines and should be checked. Verify specific airline requirements before travel as dimensions vary between carriers.

How do I care for my RUSH backpack?

Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry only, never machine wash or tumble dry. Store empty and unfolded when not in use to preserve shape. Zippers benefit from occasional lubricant if used in dusty environments.

No regrets. Fair price compared to other brands with similar designs. I use it daily for work but it’s also going to be used when camping and travelling. Easily fits all my gym gear and everything else I carry daily. The compression straps are great feature. Some days I need the full carry capacity but i generally have the bag as compressed as it can be. The materials and stitching are heavy duty. It holds its shape well but I am hoping it softens just a little with time.
The only thing improvements would be additional internal pockets and an additional Velcro patch on the side with the external zipper pocket.
